CAS Software AG with a 33-percent increase in turnover for the year 2006
The German CRM market leader for SMEs continues to grow
Karlsruhe/Germany, 16th January 2007. The past year 2006 developed more than positively for the CAS Software AG.
On balance, the year-end accounts showed an increase of 33 percent in turnover for the CRM licences. The
"Top Innovator" award also shows that the Karlsruhe-based CRM specialists stand for innovation and investment
security. In 2006, it was the first time that an IT company became first in the countrywide Top 100 comparison
study. With its CRM software genesisWorld, the CAS Software AG is also represented internationally and intends
to continue expanding the European network in 2007.

Awards for Best Innovation Management 2005, "Innovator of the Year 2006" (both TOP 100), the CRM Best Practice
Award for numerous customers, the “Mittelstandsprogramm” 2002 to 2007 with the CAS Software AG as the initiator –
the Karlsruhe-based company consistently drives its innovation management forward. More than 30 percent of the
turnover flows into research and development – the study "CRM 2006 Germany" by Pierre Audoin Consultants (PAC)
rates the CAS Software directly behind SAP and Siebel and before Microsoft. Thus, CAS Software is the market-leading
CRM specialist for German SMEs.
Buoyancy on the CRM market – European expansion
"The software that cares for customers" the Handelsblatt recently called CRM solutions and emphasised the
importance of the link between cutting-edge technology made in Germany and the appropriate service culture.
SMEs in Germany expect CRM to be the most important competitive advantage in the long-term future – and CRM
has not even started its biggest development and acceptance process. Annually, the German market is growing
by 9.5 percent (source: Meta Group). Currently, only 13 percent of SMEs are using software for effective
customer management. However, 50 percent are planning its use (source: IDC). With its intelligent CRM software
CAS genesisWorld, the CAS Software AG is ideally prepared and takes the CRM offensive with more than 100 certified
CAS partners, 29 new staff members in 2006 and 1,800 customers.
In 2007, CAS Software is intensively developing its European network. Via strategic partnerships with
established companies, the CAS Software AG is represented in France, Italy, Croatia, Austria, Rumania,
Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Turkey and Hungary. Also within the individual countries, increased attention
is paid to further partner acquisitions. For the new year, the CAS Software AG has set additional and challenging
targets: The turnover for the CRM licences should be increased by 30 percent and additional European partnerships
should be realised.
