Personal home page
- Smart access to elements: Editing the elements on the personal homepage has become even easier. Via a drop-down menu, they can be hidden, deleted, imported or exported.
- Element for charts: Now offering different colour schemes and one caption per element.

Appointments & calendar
- All-day appointments
- Support of the iCAL-Formats: To exchange data without any problems, appointments can now be sent, imported and exported as iCAL.
- Recurring appointments: If desired, a reminder can be set to remind you that a series of appointments is coming to its end.
Addresses
- Personal addresses*: If an address is set to "personal", it can only be viewed by the person who applied this setting. This way, three options are available for address management: public (all users can access all addresses), user-sensitive (the access and the number of users can be set via the user selection function) and personal (some addresses are marked as "personal" and other addresses as "public").
- Addresses with pictures: To each address record you can add a photo of the contact person or the company's logo.
- Deactivated addresses ? can no longer be edited. This setting becomes active immediately in the form upon selecting the corresponding checkbox.
- Unicode for addresses: The users can use the desired local collation for addresses ? e.g. Greek or Cyrillic.

Search
- Search function directly in the browser: The search function (for employees, documents etc.) offered on the start page of CAS teamWorks can now also be integrated as a search engine into the web browser.
E-mails
- HTML mails: Using CAS teamWorks, you can now send HTML e-mails.
- Shifting e-mails: E-mails can now be shifted to any folder with drag & drop.
- Directly open "CAS genesisWorld .gbt-attachments from e-mails"*: CAS genesisWorld links can now be opened directly in CAS teamWorks.
Smart working
- Total status of projects: The project status is visualized by a traffic light which is either green, amber or red.
- Two-step classification "type and status"*: CAS teamWorks allows for a two-step input assistance with the new fields "type" and "status". The values in the "status" field vary according to the values selected in the "type" field. Depending on the type/status combination, individual fields can be defined as compulsory fields. Via the "type" field you can also control the displayed tabs in the data record masks. The user receives exactly the information he or she requires. For example, addresses of the type "customer" have an additional tab for all related customer information such as discounts and bank details.
- Hierarchical input assistance and categories*: Input assistance and categories can also be saved in an hierarchical structure. Each branch can be defined as single or multiple selection. For example, the user can select the category "supplier" for a new address – and the individual input assistance will automatically be displayed as a drop-down menu: office supplies, promotional articles, food, beverages. Depending on the language version, the multiple selection is displayed in the according language.
- Save button in a single data record: To the function "Save & exit" already available in earlier versions we have now added the button "Save".
- Enter participants using Auto completion.
User management and administration
- Lists as RSS feed: During the definition of lists in the Management Console, the administrator can define if/that the list entries are available as RSS feed. This way they can be displayed as dynamic bookmarks in a browser.
- New icons: The icons in CAS teamWorks have been re-designed and now bear a new, continuous style.
* These functions are only available if you also use CAS genesisWorld in the corresponding edition.
