Dashboard/navigator


Dashboard

  • Personal, individually adjustable and all important information directly accessible
  • The “company dashboard” can access and display data from the complete data stock
  • Apart from this, dashboards can be displayed for any type of data record, e.g. in addresses or projects for an individual customer or project cockpit
  • In the same way as navigators, dashboards can be stored, for example, to create distribution dashboards, marketing dashboards and support dashboards
  • Definition of your own modules in the cockpit through an assistant, such as, for example, my delegated tasks or coming birthdays
  • Linked data records at one glance: All data records linked to a customer or project can be presented simply: e. g. all appointments linked to a project, data records or tasks
  • The module "Aggregated View" displays certain data records of a data record type in a summarised form, for example, as table, diagram or as RAG rating. This is also possible for linked data records.

Customer/address management


Adress record

  • Convenient address management with company addresses, contacts, private contacts, categorisations, customer number management and further additional individual fields and input assistance
  • To each address record you can add a photo of the contact person or the company's logo.
  • The address assistant will support you in collecting addresses: Conversion of unstructured contact information into structured address records, duplicate check and direct creation in CAS genesisWorld.
  • Integrated duplicate check in creating addresses
  • Consistency check in entering or altering the address: postcode/city/country, sort code/bank, first name/title, e-mail address/type of contact, homepage etc.
  • Check reference data bases of address service providers such as bedirect or YellowMap, correct and enhance addresses in accordance with requirement
  • Data from the phone book of the YellowMap AG can be added to details on individual contacts and contact persons. The individual check for addresses listed in the yellow pages, which is implemented online, also comes for free.
  • If an address is set to "personal", it can only be viewed by the person who applied this setting. This way, three options are available for address management: public (all users can access all addresses), user-sensitive (the access and the number of users can be set via the user selection function) and personal (some addresses are marked as "personal" and other addresses as "public").
  • Who was the last one that contacted the customer or prospective customer? This information can be gained easily via the contact status field.
  • Since version 9, CAS genesisWorld has offered the option to map corporate structures by linking the parent company to the subsidiaries (1:n). In version 10, this structure can be viewed graphically and edited easily via the "Corporate structure" tab.

The cost-free add-on, CAS Info@Click, makes for noticeable work alleviation in collecting addresses. CAS Info@Click creates addresses from e-mail signatures, Word/PDF files, Internet pages or similar directly in CAS genesisWorld as an individual/company contact or contact, checks possible duplicates and starts interactions such as telephone calls and e-mails. Mature search features across several applications – e.g. CAS genesisWorld, yellow pages, city map or various web pages – are just as fully integrated in CAS Info@Click as also a translation feature.

Input assistance and categories

  • Two-step classification "type and status": CAS genesisWorld allows for a two-step input assistance with the new fields "type" and "status". The values in the "status" field vary according to the values selected in the "type" field. Depending on the type/status combination, individual fields can be defined as compulsory fields. Via the "type" field you can also control the displayed tabs in the data record masks. The user receives exactly the information he or she requires. For example, addresses of the type "customer" have an additional tab for all related customer information such as discounts and bank details.
  • Hierarchical input assistance and categories: Input assistance and categories can also be saved in a hierarchical structure. For each field, you can assign a multiple selection to the input assistance. For example, the user can select the category "supplier" for a new address – and the individual input assistance will automatically be displayed as a drop-down menu: office supplies, promotional articles, food, beverages. Depending on the language version, the multiple selection is displayed in the according language.

Linking method - primary links

  • Primary links form hierarchies: The new linking method is a special 1:n linking which is used to map a linking hierarchy. The use of primary links can, e.g. be useful in the project business if direct projects are assigned to a customer's address and data stored in the system are assigned to the project. The special thing about this: The hierarchy tree can be displayed graphically as an interactive tree view.

CAS genesisWorld works according to the motto: find the right information quickly. New, fully developed search functions support you in this matter:


Search

  • Phonetic search for addresses: Considers different spelling possibilities of the term searched for. This way, you will even find Mr. Meyer of the company Schmitt & Co if you search for Maier and Schmidt.
  • Search including links: Includes links for the search. As a result, customers that, e.g. have not reacted to any quote in the last two years, can easily be found. Each search including links can be saved in the navigator.

Appointments/process management


Calender weekly view

  • Daily/weekly/monthly views
  • All-day appointments for even clearer scheduling
  • Recurring appointments If desired, a notification can be set to remind you that a series of appointments is coming to its end.
