The configurator can be used e.g. for canteen kitchens as well as under carriage.

The sales person simply integrates several branches into the CAS Configurator Merlin and can thus offer various choices e.g. individually configured mountain bikes. Prospective customers will be impressed by the ordering process. During configuration it will also be possible to compare different branches and variants. CAS Configurator Merlin can be implemented in two different ways:

• Interested customers are able to configure their desired product directly on the Internet and e.g. order their choice from an integrated shop system.
• Sales personnel in/out of the office provide excellent service with the configurator being integrated in their sales system. Having the data readily available, the entire sales staff profits from comprehensive knowledge. Even the sales person working in the field can configure products from her laptop without having to access the Internet.

Another advantage of both processes: producers will receive more and more orders they can actually build and thus costs for returns, like misplaced orders or variants which cannot be build, are reduced.
