AmbientLearning

The AMBIENT LEARNING service offers ambient, multimodal, personalised and context-sensitive access to learning. The objective of the project is to provide an eLearning service, which allows anytime and anywhere access to personalised, high quality learning content. >> more

HYPERGEO

The Hypergeo participants addressed the development of mobile solutions that integrate geographical information. Such tools create important additional value for informational services (e.g. tourist or traffic information). >> more

IISME

The IISME participants developed a multimedia based online Customer Relationship Management system in order to support process oriented sales and marketing activities. >> more

IMPACT

The business objective of IMPACT is to improve the product support process in the partnership between a software developer and its international solution partners who are commercialising and adapting the software products for their local markets. >> more

JEWEL

JEWEL aimed at adapting and validating a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for a distributed network of small and medium sized sales organisations within the jewellery industry. >> more

LIP

LIP is intended to empower individuals to define, procure (in a proactive way depending on particular role and task of the users) and manage their own learning for work within an organisational context, which offers rich sources for inferring user needs. >> more

MOSAIC

MOSAIC develops scenarios and roadmaps for mobile and location-aware working, builds strategies for deploying innovative mobile work technologies and applications in sector domains, and starts up initiatives for joint research and innovation. >> more

 

Multicultural and language aspects of multimedia communications

As part of the EC/EFTA funded eEurope 2005 initiative - "An information society for all", a Specialist Task Force (STF 287) has been set up to look at the difficulties and barriers encountered by people communicating and accessing information when in environments where the culture or language is different to their own. >> more

 

SMILE

The project SMILE aims at developing an incremental implementation methodology for CRM systems, which is especially tailored to the requirements of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). >> more

SOAVE

The SOAVE project aims at adopting and validating an innovative best practice approach for the second generation of application service provision business models. The project will allow for the provision of CRM related standard software applications experimenting a newly developed business model. >> more

THINKcreative

THINKcreative aims at establishing a working group to act as a European advisory group in the area of smart and emerging organizations in the framework of the "knowledge and skills economy". >> more

TROOP

At the Forschungszentrum Informatik, Karlsruhe an innovative approach to integrate design patterns into existing object oriented systems has been worked out. In TROOP we have evaluated the industrial effectiveness of this approach. >> more

UNCODE

The initial subject of UNCODE was the integration and correct use of UML in a appropriate tool focused on component-oriented development. During execution of the experiment we recognised that we needed a suitable lifecycle model in order to deal with new organisational and working structures resulting from component orientation. >> more

VISION

The VISION project will provide a strategic roadmap towards next-generation organisational knowledge management. VISION pursues a cyclic and incremental approach for reviewing existing show cases (research projects, products, etc.) and state-of-the-art technology. >> more

VIVIAN

The objective of the Vivian project was to provide an adequate platform for the software development for handheld terminals and PDA devices (e.g. the Series 5 from PSION and the Communicator from NOKIA). >> more

VENTO

For a better understanding of the requirements for virtual enterprise partnerships CAS Software started VENTO. Together with partners like Biba, Staffware and Knowledge we established a virtual enterprise model. We then integrated groupware as well as workflow tools and adapted them in order to increase synergy effects within and between working groups. >> more

VOMAP

VOMAP aims at identifying and characterising the key challenges, required multi-disciplinary constituency, and an implementation plan for a comprehensive initiative to affirm the EU leadership on emerging collaborative virtual organizations (VO). >> more
